Just yesterday, I found out about this book, which is compiled from a young Iraqi woman's blog entries, and has won a Lettre Ulysses Award in 2005. Riverbend, the author of the blog, talks about everyday life in Baghdad, about politics, and about all the difficulties people are facing there. Her blog is still online. I started reading the archives of 2003 and found it really fascinating. The link is

Maybe someone here find's it interesting, too.

Excellent I'll have a look. I wish we could find out the truth about what is happpening in Lebanon, instead of what the israelis want us to know.
